It's officially fall, and that means wardrobe changes! It's just about time to say goodbye to flip flops and sleeveless dress and say hello to boots, plaid, and scarves. Here are some of my favorite fashion trends and items for fall.
The color of the year: Marsala
Maybe you call it wine, burgundy, or maroon. Whatever you call it, it's a popular color for fall, even though it's Pantone's color of the year. It's one of my new favorite colors and can be worn in a variety of ways. |

Boots
Once it's fall (and actually feels like fall), boots are pretty much the only shoes I wear: combat boots, knee high slouchy boots, and short-heeled booties.

Leggings
Yes, I am one of those people who wears leggings as pants. They're a nice alternative to pants, are comfier than jeans, and come in fun prints as well as solid colors. Plus, they can be dressed up or down depending on what you wear them with.
Cute, light jackets
Fall presents great opportunities to wear jackets that aren't too heavy but are still cute. Over the past few years, I've collected a few that may be cuter than the outfit I wear underneath.
