Last week, I was on spring break, and for me, breaks from school mean going home. And for me, going home means shopping. That was definitely the case this year as my mom decided we'd be going to three different malls. Plus, I did some online shopping before leaving for break in case I needed an outfit for Easter. So it's safe to say I've done a lot of retail therapy over the past few weeks.
Many of the items I purchased are available online, so click the hyperlink in the photo caption to find it online. I couldn't find the exact ones on websites for everything, but I did find similar ones that are also linked below the photos.
As I near the end of my junior year of college and await from various companies about summer internships, I definitely have realized I need more professional clothes to wear in the workplace. This navy and white striped midi pencil skirt is perfect for those occasions since it's an appropriate length and goes well with many of my blouses. This skirt is made from a stretchy fabric that isn't cotton, and it feels thick without being heavy, so I'm sure it's comfy. Well, at lease it felt that way when I tried it on.
I always go to A'GACI's sale section because I know they always have great deals in there. This cute shirt was one of those. I remember seeing this online when it was regularly priced, and I wanted it instantly. So I was pleased to find this on sale for less than $15! Plus, it goes with the navy striped skirt above (and a bunch of my other bottoms)!
The same goes for this black lace midi skirt as the skirt at the top of this post. Black is a classic color, so it's great for several occasions. I like the layers because it won't make you too hot if you wear it.
Forever 21
I don't think you can ever have too many tank tops, and sometimes, I need cropped ones like this one. This cropped cami/bralette is great for summer and layering with low cut shirts or muscle tees. The lace is also such a cute touch!
I just really love how simple yet cute this top is. I don't have a lot of striped clothing, and the daisy trim on this top is so cute.
While I know I own more than enough shorts for summer, I don't yet own a pair of pink denim shorts, so I knew I had to get these when I saw them.
And once I saw this shirt after grabbing the shorts pictured above, I knew they'd go great together for a cute summer outfit.
I've seen bras like these all over the Internet and adore the simple detail it can add to a top that's even a bit low cut.
I really don't need any more floral print dresses, but this one seemed like a good one for professional use. I'm going to Portland on a school trip at the start of the summer and need to dress professionally for it, so I thought this would be good for that. Plus, it was one of those times when I go to the register and the item is cheaper than the price tag says!
I have a pair of shorts similar to these already, but these were only $2.50 because they were in the clearance section and all clearance items were an additional 50% off. I just couldn't pass this up.

Sweet Wanderer top |
I adore the design on this top. It reminds me of the mandala-like designs I see in a lot of adult coloring books nowadays. I don't have anything like it and thought I could use some variety in my wardrobe.

Sweet Wanderer v-neck swing tank |
Plain, solid tops are always good to have, but most of mine are just tank tops or t-shirts, and sometimes, it's necessary to have nicer ones not just made out of cotton. I plan on wearing this under a black blazer and/or with one of the black skirts I reserve for professional wear.

Hollister floral romper |
I remember seeing this romper online and really liked it. But since it's Hollister, it was out of my price range. So I was pleasantly surprised to find it for around $10 at my local Marshalls.
|
Poof high neck swing dress |
Swing dresses and high necklines are trending, so I knew I wanted a dress like this. I just didn't know what color/print. As I've gone through my clothes, I realized I have no plain black dresses, so I figured solid black was the way to go.
|
Spalding fitted crop tights |
I'm trying to work out more and just be healthier, but I don't have plain black cropped athletic leggings, which would go well with virtually every athletic top or sports bra I own, so I decided to get some.
Nike

Printed compression shorts |
I firmly believe that you can never have too many pairs of spandex.
Styles for Less
I was hoping to wear this for Easter if it was warm enough, but it wasn't. Instead, I'll just wear it over the summer. The open back is great for hot days, and the romper can be dressed up or down.
TJ Maxx
Matching sets are on the rise, and I think these pieces can be used for multiple outfits, which is great. Plus, the top and skirt are both comfy.
One random day a few weeks ago, I saw former
Dance Moms star Chloe Lukasiak post on social media about her photos with 90 Degree by Reflex being up on the company's site, so I went to go check it out. So while I originally just browsed through the site to see Chloe's photos, I ended up seeing this super cool and cute sports bra I just had to have. It was a bit pricey at the time, so I was undecided about getting it. Not too long after that, I found it on TJ Maxx's website at an affordable price, so I snagged it!
At the moment, this sports bra is actually only available in extra small on TJ Maxx and 90 Degree by Reflex's websites, and it's only available in aqua mint on 90 Degree's website, so if you love this bra like I do and can fit in an extra small, you better hurry!
As much as I love pink and floral print, I surprisingly don't have any comfy athletic leggings that are pink or floral print. So when I came across these, I knew it would be good to get them. Now I will be more motivated to exercise so I can wear these.
Under Armour

Snakeskin printed compression shorts |
I just love spandex. They're so useful. They're great for exercising, just lounging around, and for wearing under skirts and dresses. I can't wear skirts or dresses without them anymore.
Victoria's Secret PINK
Before leaving for spring break, I realized I don't have hoodies that are good for exercising. And considering I don't have any long sleeve shirts for exercising, a hoodie or sweatshirt would be helpful. PINK isn't the cheapest, but I think their products are worth it. This hoodie is so comfy and lightweight. Plus, it has thumbholes, which I always think are cool to have.
I also realized I don't really have any neutral sweatshirts or hoodies (and by neutral, I pretty much mean almost plain black or gray). So this hoodie is great for that too. I've worn this a few times already, both for exercising and just going grocery shopping with my mom, and I love it. I would definitely recommend it if you can afford it.
I hope everyone's had a relaxing spring break (or will have, if you haven't had yours yet.) How did you spend you break? If you shopped till you dropped like me, what deals did you score?
