What I Got for Christmas 2017

I love Christmas, and presents are definitely a big part of why. However, I actually like giving gifts more than receiving them ― but I enjoy getting them, nonetheless!

This Christmas was much smaller for my family than last year's as no one came to our house to celebrate the holiday. Majority of the family members we usually spend Christmas with are in or going to the Philippines for the holidays, so it was just an immediate family occasion for me this year.

With the smaller celebration means less presents, and I'm honestly okay with that. I'm at that age where I don't really want things for Christmas anyway. (Seriously, though. What I actually wanted for Christmas was no student loan debt and a job.) So I didn't expect to get much this year but was pleasantly surprised with what I did get!

Tweexy wearable nail polish holder

My brother got me this nail polish holder, and although I haven't used it yet, I love it. I enjoy doing my nails and am pretty clumsy, so this is a perfect gift for me.

"Glitter is my favorite color" Kate Spade mug

Kate Spade's simply sparkling glitter is my favorite color mug
My sister was kind enough to buy me this pretty Kate Spade mug even though she'd already bought me a big birthday/early Christmas present. I love Kate Spade, pink, and glitter, so this is basically my ideal mug. In fact, I've already used it and made some tea!

Throw towels seem to be rising in popularity these days, ideal for the beach or any outdoor ground seating. These could even be used like a tapestry and hung on a wall. For several months now, I've thought a cute throw towel would be useful because who doesn't like doughnuts?! And I'm definitely one of those people who doesn't want to sit right on the ground outside. (I'd hate to ruin my clothes!) So this is great for that even if I'll have to wait several months or travel somewhere warm to use it.

Funko Pop! pink Mighty Morphin Power Ranger vinyl figure

Funko Pop! TV Pink Ranger Vinyl Figure
Collectibles like these Funko Pop! figures that you've probably seen in a Barnes and Noble or Hot Topic somewhere are definitely on the rise. Funko makes these for so many different shows, movies, games, and fandoms that there's probably at least one you'll want.

This Might Morphin pink ranger one is my third Funko Pop! (My first was Eggsy from Kingsman, and I just bought the Hot Topic exclusive Veronica Lodge Riverdale one last Friday.) My favorite color is pink, and I grew up watching Power Rangers, so I definitely wanted this one. I almost never find it in stores, though, and the one time I did, it was missing a hand! So thank you to my brother for finally getting me this.

Fantastic Gymnastics game

If you don't know by now, don't know me, or have never been to my blog or any of my social media accounts, I'm a gymnastics fanatic. So if there's a game about gymnastics, I probably want it.

I first saw this game probably near the start of the year and was definitely intrigued and wanted it. However, I didn't want it enough and/or didn't want to spend my money on it. Now that I'm not in school and am still on the job hunt, it's a good time to finally have this and play it.

The game is fairly simple. It's a simulation of the men's artistic gymnastics event high bar, also known as horizontal bar. The objective of the game is to get the gymnast to stick his dismount in the green zone to get the most points.

Since I haven't played it yet, I'm not sure how easy the game is or how easy it is to get bored/frustrated with it, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it either way because I definitely can't do high bar in real life.

Soma "Pancakes and Pajamas" pajama set

Scoopneck Long Sleeve Pajama Set in Pancakes Vintage Pink
I absolutely adore these pajamas my mom got me! My mom usually buys me and my sister new pajamas for Christmas, and my mom did a great job with mine this year. I've never been so excited about getting pajamas for Christmas until now.

Besides the fact that pancakes are my favorite breakfast, the shirt is so soft and comfy. I love how the shirt is a little loose and flowy. The pants are cute and even have pockets! Plus, the script font "pancakes and pajamas" is written in is adorable. I can't wait to wear these and make pancakes while wearing them. I'm definitely going to take pictures while wearing these pajamas and holding the pancakes I made.

Happy holidays, everyone! What are some of your favorite Christmas presents this year, given or received?
