It's been a while since I last did a Motivation Monday post. And though part of the reason for that is lack of time, I've also lacked ideas. I created a Motivation Monday blog series in an effort to post more consistently, and at the time, I thought I'd have the time and plenty of ideas.
While I could've just been posting a bunch of inspirational quotes every Monday, I didn't like the idea of doing that week after week. I thought it'd be tiring. I felt like it'd lose its purpose or something.
But I figured out a way to possibly make it less tiring and repetitive when I do post quotes for Motivation Monday. When I do post quotes for these blogs, there will be a theme that all the quotes relate to. This week's is passion.
I came upon this theme while looking for graduation cap ideas. I still have a little less than a year until I graduate college, but one of my best friends graduated college early, and a lot of people I know graduated this year. So I saw a lot of decorated graduation caps, which has gotten me thinking about what I want to do with mine. My best friend's graduation cap actually had a quote relating to passion, and I loved the idea of putting a quote about passion on mine. So I looked up a bunch of quotes on Pinterest.
It's easy to be motivated when you're passionate about something. Even if what you're currently doing isn't necessarily what you're passionate about, like going to school, it's helpful to recognize whether it's a step towards doing what you're passionate about.
For example, there's most likely going to be a part of what you want to do for a living that you don't care much for. I want to be a gymnastics reporter, but I don't enjoy writing previews and recaps very much. But I know that having the ability to do that is going to help me achieve my dream and be involved in a sport I'm very passionate about.
Check out some of my favorite quotes about passion below!
What are you passionate about?
