From her MTV days on Laguna Beach to the time she released her clothing line in collaboration with Kohl's, I've pretty much always been a fan of Lauren Conrad's, especially her style. Fashion is the field she's wanted to enter since she rose to fame, and she did it! (Quite successfully, too!)
If I were to describe my own style, I wouldn't be able to in just a few words. I like to wear all different styles from super girly and cute to edgy and a little dark to sporty and comfy. But throughout the years, Lauren Conrad's style has always been one I enjoyed. She's often simple but very girly, cute, and classic with her clothing choices, both in terms of what she wears and what she designs. I think her style is one that will always be trendy and fashionable, so here are some of my favorite looks from her over the past few years.
In this photo, she's on the left sporting a very simple summer outfit, complete with cute accessories. Just by looking at the dress, I can tell it's a lightweight fabric that's great for summer. The neutral colors of the outfit contribute to the simplicity. A nice touch is the criss-cross patterned band at the waist of her dress, which adds some contrast. I also adore her sandals. This is a really cute and simple summer look.
Her entire outfit isn't visible in this shot, but from what I can see, I love it. The black crop top with the fun twisted/tied back is really fun, and her floral bottoms are super cute! It's a fun and easy outfit to put together for summer or just any time you're out to have fun in a warm climate.
This is a fun photoshoot look. The leather vest and boots add some edge to the girly dress, which provides for a nice contrast in styles, color, and textures. This isn't something she would typically wear, but it shows that she can pull off not only the simple and chic clothes she's known for, but adding some edge as well.
I'm not entirely sure if she's wearing a romper or a dress, but whatever it is, it's super cute. I'm a sucker for floral print, and I'm a big fan of v-necks. The ruffled cap sleeves also add another feminine touch and allow for some more movement and breathing room as opposed to plain sleeves that are a little restrictive.
I feel like this one describes Lauren's style so well. It's a simple, chic, and classy outfit. The over-sized, round sunglasses are great for being stylish while blocking out the sun and protecting your eyes. The orange and white combo of her top and shorts bring some contrast and a pop of color, and her clutch and shoes add some more class to her look, which is perfect for brunch, which is what this outfit was for.
Black is a classic color that will never go out of style, and this exemplifies how it can be edgy or cute and girly. The monochromatic tones pull everything together into a nice silhouette. Her ankle booties are a nice alternative to plain black pumps and add to the silhouette while still being dressy. The black lace dress is really cute overall, and the fit is flattering.
Lauren's got a classic and trendy style that gives me inspiration to dress simply but still trendy. What do you like about her style, and how do you like her clothing line? I have yet to own anything from it yet, but would love to!
