If you're familiar with the TV shows Dancing with the Stars or So You Think You Can Dance, you've likely heard the names Witney Carson and Lindsay Arnold before. Both dancers got their start on SYTYCD and later moved on to DWTS like other SYTYCD alum before them.

I admit I pretty much only watch DWTS when a gymnast is competing, but I watch SYTYCD almost every year. That's where I first became a fan of Witney and Lindsay's. The two ballroom blondes were captivating and versatile, and I found their relationships as best friends adorable! I mean, how many BFFs can say they've been on two reality TV competition shows together?

Anyway, in honor of their dance show performance "Born & Raised Utah" (they were both born and raised in Utah) premiering today, I've decided to feature some of my favorite non-dance related looks of theirs. Because outside the ballroom, beyond the flashy, glittery ballroom costumes and stretchy dance and athletic wear of the studio, these girls still have great style!

This photo is actually a promotional shot for the show, but what I love about their outfits is how they're similar but different. The white lace tops and floral midi skirts the same when describing them with words, but visually, they're quite different.

Lindsay's (left) is more playful and modern with the deep v and cutouts of the top and the colors of the skirt. Witney's is more girly, feminine, and chic with the crocheted lace, regular sleeves, and monochromatic skirt.

I love everything about this pink ensemble by Witney. The peplum adds some volume to her dress and the silhouette of the whole look. I love the shade of pink, and her nude heels keep everything simple. It's a very cute but simple look.

This outfit may be the epitome of cute and casual. The plaid wrap shirt and distressed denim are comfy but still cute, and the hat just adds a nice touch. It's hard to see, but Lindsay's little purse goes well with her top, as the burgundy/maroon color matches one of the colors of her top, adding a little pop of color.

Witney just looks so chic and gorgeous in this navy blue lace dress! I get Lauren Conrad vibes from it. First, the fishtail braid is fabulous and allows her hair to not cover that beautiful dress. Second, I love the navy. I don't think navy is a color lace goes with very often, but it really adds some sophistication and depth to the fabric.

I love the varying patterns and kinds of lace and mesh that are on her dress. I also love the some of it is sheer, especially at the bodice. It adds layers and complexity to the delicate-looking piece. I do wonder if she should have chosen nude shoes rather than black, but going with the pointed toe heel was a great choice. I think it's more elegant and polished than a rounded toe.

Witney and Lindsay might be the queens of midi skirts/dresses.

This outfit from Lindsay is similar to the one in the first picture, but this is definitely more casual and modern. The crop top shows just the right amount of skin, and the black (or maybe navy. I can't quite tell.) details on the bottom/sides add some flair. I also love the high neck on the top. They're great for crop tops.

The floral midi skirt is super cute, and I think it flares out just the right amount to create a nice a-line silhouette. Her simple nude heels maintain the look of the whole outfit but don't distract from the floral print of the skirt of any other colors.

Most of the time, these blonde bombshells are out on the west coast where it's usually sunny and warm, but of course they end up in colder places sometimes. And Witney knows exactly how to dress for that while still being super stylish.

The green and navy plaid coat is a super cute winter coat. Usually, colors and patterns like that are saved for flannel shirts and less casual pieces, but she nails it with that jacket! When most think of outfits, jackets aren't meant to be the stars of the show, but this one certainly is.

She keeps it simple with a solid dress underneath. The over-the-knee boots complete the look with some length and a pop of color. Normally, brown or any tan shade like that wouldn't be considered a pop of color, but it is in this case. If only I could figure out how to dress that cute in cold weather.

Before I say anything else, I know there's a big cutout in the middle of her swimsuit that will create awkward tan-lines, but honestly, who cares? The tan-lines will fade or you can just tan more to even it out. And in Lindsay's case, she gets spray tans for DWTS all the time, so no worries! Besides, how often would that much be showing if she wasn't wearing a swimsuit or a Latin ballroom costume?

Okay. Anyway, how cute is that swimsuit?! My favorite part would definitely be the criss-cross straps at the top. That design and concept is very trendy right now, and I'm loving it. It just adds a little something. And I love floral print! That's all.

This is another promotional photo for their show, and the outfits do the same thing as the first picture I used! They're both white lace dresses, but visually, they're very different. Lindsay's dress is very similar to the top she wore in the first photo with the deep-v and the little cutouts, which are more modern. Witney's has long sleeves and uses a different, much lighter and more delicate lace. Until I saw these promotional photos, I didn't realize how similar yet different an outfit consisting of essentially the same things could be!

Which outfits of theirs did you like best? And if you've ever watched them dance, which dance of theirs if your favorite? (Got to love Witney and Alfonso Ribeiro doing "the Carlton"!)
